R&S welcomes ALSO to the family, AKA the pairing of Appleblim (Laurie Osbourne ) and Second Storey (Alec Storey) for their killer EP01. Ever since they first met and bonded over a shared love of Detroit machine rhythms and sleek electronic grooves, the pair have been hard at work on pushing their creative boundaries to the limit, never content to take the easy route – as Laurie explains “if that means broken rhythms, and untraditional melodies then so be it.. There’s so many people making sonically ‘correct’ or refined 4×4 music, we just wanted to explore everything other than that, whilst still keeping the dance floor moving.”
