Khruangbin ‘History Of Flight’ (Night Time Stories/Late Night Tales label) Texan three-piece Khruangbin present four cover versions – Yellow Magic Orchestra, Ennio Morricone, Serge Gainsborg and Thai band Boon Praraksa – recorded in their exotic, individual sound. Taking influence from 1960’s Thai funk – Khruangbin literally translates to “Engine Fly” in Thai – the EP is steeped in the bass heavy, psychedelic sound of their inspiration, Tarantino soundtracks and surf-rock cool.
