‘Trust EP’ is another wonderfully singular piece of work from an artist who’s never felt the need to try and find his place, or even give the notion of attempting to fit in credence. From the title track’s mournful horns and baritone vocal sample, to the pressing, insistent rhythms of ‘Burnt Out Car In A Forest’, the tracks on show are complex and intricate, while remaining profoundly human and engaging.
The EP is his first release since the short-run ‘Mountain’ / ‘Financial District’ 7” released last May, and is to be followed later this year by his second full length album.
