African … The reason why Sing a song fighter became a label was to put this totally fantastic Malian lp from 1978 out. Music teacher Idrissa Soumaoro started his band (L’eclipse) with two of his students at a school for blind teenagers in Bamako, Mali (the two students would later on form a duo and recieve worldwide acclaim as Amadou & Mariam).
