“You Can’t Fight It” was written for John Carpenter’s seminal “Assault On Precinct 13”, but only made it onto the Italian release of the film, “Distretto 13″, and was previously available only as a very limited 7” promo! Trinidadian Jimmy Chambers rose to fame in the early 90s in Londonbeat, achieving number 1 success in the U.S. Billboard 100 and Hot Dance Club back in 1991 with “I’ve Thinking About You”. 15 years prior however he was commissioned to perform “You Can’t Fight It”, masterminded by British 60’s legend Kenny Lynch.
