Navarro belongs to a generation of musicians who shaped the history of jazz music in Argentina, starting already in the mid-50s alongside other renowned jazzmen such as Lalo Schifrin, Leandro “Gato” Barbieri, “Baby” López Furst or Jorge López Ruiz.
