Description
For our third release, we are joining forces with bristol stalwart – Kowton – finding the link between two genres that are very close to our hearts – grime & techno. Built as an ode to ruff sqwad’s ‘raw 2 da core’, Kowton is able to build up and take down the rough and rugged aesthetic that is found within both genres in just over 5 minutes.
On the flip, taking on the original is Blawan and Pariahs collaborative project – Karenn (SheWorksTheLongNights). Keeping true to the spirit of UK techno, they manage to translate the raw and grimey quality of the original through a heap of analogue gear, all in one take.
