The opening track ‘Northeast’ sees punchy stabs interlace with a shifting melodic bass, both dancing playfully over and under shuffling snares and hats which carry the listener from start to finish. ‘Southwest’ continues on with a bouncing percussive groove that provides the platform for a canorous bassline and string melody to emerge.
