Totally fresh 4 track 12 by Ethiopian born and based artist Mikael Seifu – bluntly put under the ‘house’ tag here, but in fact a melting pot of styles is coming together on this beauty. Limited pressing. Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Seifu attended the French school Lycee Guebre-Mariam as a child, and went on to study music production at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Mikael Seifu is an Electronic music producer & performer from Ethiopia. Seifu’s music is a fusion of Ethiopian folk, UK garage & his own dream brew, which he calls “Ethiopian electronic.” His debut EP, Yarada Lij, draws from a long list of musical influences including Endeguena Mulu, Ben Neill, Burial, Zion Rebels, and R.F. 1432 R is an independent record label based in Washington DC.
