Mosco fell asleep and awoke days later with Red Axes. This is their joint offering for the ESP Institute. Dikembe Manutu, the fictional character who’s name gives title to our thumping A side, establishes a lush theme based on meandering steel drums and reverberating toms while a slew of rich percussion leads us through the jungle on a melodic galloping bassline.
