Peaking Lights are back with their follow-up to 2012’s Lucifer. The new one is called Cosmic Logic, and it’s out October 7 in the U.S. and October 6 in the UK via Weird World. It was recorded in Los Angeles by Matt Thornley (LCD Soundsystem, The Crystal Ark) along with the band’s Indra Dunis and Aaron Coyes. The first single is “Breakdown”, and it’s streaming on a new Peaking Lights site. You can listen to it above, too.In a statement, Coyes said, “Peaking Lights’ whole thing has always been based on an idea of ‘Fucked Modern Pop but exactly what that is, we don’t know… we’re still trying to figure that out.”
