Fairweather. ‘Ruled By Passion, Destroyed By Lust’ is the their debut ride; twelve tracks of self-indulgent dance-rock posturing for people who don’t really like to dance. It’s the sh*t ghosts of early ’90s baggy swagger come back to leer at you from the shadows of crap clubnights frequented by folk who’ve “made an effort” (most of London, probably Paris, too many in Manchester), with the great overrated One sucking vampire like from the yoofful spirit of Battant’s Tim J in order to get a few more miles out of that schtick.
